Locum Tenens - Cardiology - Interventional

Role Overview

The position involves providing specialized Interventional Cardiology services in an inpatient setting at a hospital with 200 beds and a Level 3 trauma designation.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing interventional cardiology procedures and managing patients accordingly.
• Providing coverage for approximately 5 shifts per month, Monday through Friday.
• Responding to STEMI calls within 30 minutes and other calls within 20 minutes, with both in-house and on-call duties.
• Managing 15-20 patients per shift, with admissions handled by hospitalist services unless STEMI cases.
• Utilizing EPIC electronic medical records system.

Qualifications & Skills

• AR medical license and DEA certification required.
• Experience in interventional cardiology preferred.
• Ability to work independently, respond promptly to emergencies, and manage acute cases effectively.
