Locum Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgeon

About the role

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide inpatient pediatric cardiothoracic surgery coverage in a facility with over 30 pediatric ICU beds, including a dedicated pediatric cardiac ICU. This role involves delivering care in both inpatient and OR settings.

Schedule

7-on/7-off schedule with day and 24-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality pediatric surgical care for a low-volume caseload.
• Support first call managed by advanced practice providers (call ratio of 1:2).
• Work within established call protocols in inpatient and OR settings.

Requirements

• Experience in pediatric surgery and cardiac care.
• Prescriptive authority.
