Location Manager

Country Partners Cooperative is a full-service diversified agricultural cooperative in central Nebraska located in 20 communities, partnering with farmers and ranchers to accomplish more together.

About the role

To oversee the safety, operations, marketing and profitability of the Bartlett, NE location, with emphasis on agronomy, energy, feed and grain. Responsibilities include direct oversight of operations, either personally or through subordinate managers.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for regulatory compliance and leading the safety program for the location.
• Maintain clean and well-kept facilities.
• Ensure proper inventory levels and approved purchasing procedures.
• Maintain good customer and employee relations.
• Oversee agronomy business, facilities, and staff at the location.
• Oversee bookkeeping procedures to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain all company inventory in good condition.
• Oversee all equipment and rolling stock.
• Ensure the location operates within its expense budget and profit goals.
• Facilitate marketing efforts to achieve sales goals.
• Fill in as needed when labor is short.
• Work in a sales capacity with customers.
• Oversee expansion and improvement of facilities.
• Serve as the key liaison between the branch and management.
• Perform other activities as directed by supervisor.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Directly supervises employees at the location.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
