About the role
The Location Manager assists with managing the location's overall operational business while completing a defined curriculum of activities that will prepare the partner to successfully lead a Rental facility within a 24-month timeframe.
Responsibilities
- Management of an assigned area or areas, including hiring and developing a high-performing team, managing performance, and providing leadership
- Handling customer service issues and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Achieving operational goals, maintaining inventory, managing a budget, and addressing operational issues that affect service
- Providing input on immediate and long-range planning of location goals and objectives
- Working independently to collate and analyze data using pre-determined tools, methods, and formats
- Ensuring all Production systems and processes in assigned area are functioning properly daily to keep the plant on schedule
- Maintaining and updating internal communications systems as needed
- Carrying out knowledge management tasks to support others
- Investigating questions related to existing programs, processes, and procedures to understand Cintas Production facility operations
- Controlling costs and reviewing financial statements with the Plant Manager daily, weekly, and monthly to ensure financial operations are conducted efficiently
- Interpreting data and identifying possible answers by navigating existing processes, procedures, and precedents
- Accountability for department-specific KPIs during time spent in each department
- Performing all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- Five to seven years of management experience, including full P&L responsibility, managing budgets, long-range strategic planning, and workforce planning (e.g., staffing and succession planning)
- Experience supervising and directing people and resources to achieve specific results within limited timeframes
- Attendance is an essential function of the job
- Ability to relocate is required
