About the role

As a Local Event Producer & Promoter, you will be responsible for organizing and promoting events in Columbia MO, Evansville IN, South Bend IN, and Sioux Falls SD. This is a freelance position where you are commissioned to produce and promote events.

Responsibilities

• Develop event concepts and marketing strategies
• Secure venues and vendors
• Manage event logistics including timelines, budgets, and staff coordination
• Collaborate with artists and performers to ensure successful event execution
• Handle customer relations and feedback
• Generate and manage event revenue through commissions

Requirements

• Proven experience in event production and promotion
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of local market trends and audience preferences

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, or related field (not required but preferred)
