Local Event Producer & Promoter (freelance, commission only)

About the role

A local event producer and promoter is needed to work on a freelance basis, earning commissions on events they help organize. The ideal candidate will have experience in event planning, marketing, and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of various events
• Manage logistics including venue selection, vendor coordination, and budgeting
• Develop promotional materials and manage social media campaigns
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and goals for events
• Ensure all legal and compliance requirements are met

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in event production or related field
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
