Local Event Producer & Promoter (freelance, commission only)

About the role

The Local Event Producer & Promoter position is available on a freelance basis, with commissions only. The role requires a strong understanding of local event trends and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing strategies for events in the designated markets.
• Coordinate with venues, vendors, and performers to ensure smooth event execution.
• Manage event budgets and financial reporting.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including venue owners, performers, and sponsors.
• Stay updated on local event trends and industry news.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in event production or management.
• Proven track record of successfully organizing and promoting events.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with event planning software such as Eventbrite or Ticketmaster.
• Knowledge of local market dynamics and event trends.
