Local Event Producer & Promoter (freelance, commission only)

About the role

A local event producer and promoter is needed to work on a freelance basis, earning commissions from successful events. The position requires experience in organizing and promoting various types of events in Ann Arbor, Flint, Grand Rapids, Lansing, Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, and Sioux City.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote events
• Manage event logistics including venue coordination, vendor selection, and attendee communication
• Collaborate with clients to understand their event goals and tailor promotions accordingly
• Ensure all events adhere to safety guidelines and regulations
• Generate and analyze data to improve future event planning and promotion

Requirements

• Proven experience in event production and promotion
• Strong organizational and project management skills

Qualifications
