Local Event Producer & Promoter (freelance, commission only)

About the role

A local event producer and promoter is needed to manage events in Ann Arbor, Flint, Grand Rapids, Lansing, Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, and Sioux City, Iowa. This position is freelance and paid on a commission basis.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute events in various locations
• Manage logistics including venue coordination, catering, and entertainment
• Collaborate with artists and performers to secure bookings
• Market and promote events through social media and other channels
• Ensure compliance with all legal and safety regulations
• Handle customer inquiries and feedback

Requirements

• Proven experience in event production and promotion
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
