Local Contract PACU Registered Nurse - $25-30 per hour

About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a local contract nursing job in Los Alamos, New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care services under the supervision of a licensed practitioner.
• Assist with patient recovery from anesthesia.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and ensure their comfort.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Experience in PACU preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved nursing program.
• At least one year of relevant clinical experience.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in medical terminology and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
