Local Contract PACU Registered Nurse - $34-40 per hour

About the role

We are seeking a local contract nurse RN for a PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) position in Hermitage, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the care of patients immediately following anesthesia
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications as necessary
• Prepare and assist with patient transfers between units
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Tennessee
• Experience in PACU preferred
• Current BLS certification

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills

Skills

• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Knowledgeable in post-anesthesia care protocols
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
