About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a local contract nursing job in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care services under the supervision of a licensed practitioner.
- Assist with patient recovery from anesthesia.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and ensure their comfort.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Experience in PACU preferred but not required.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including 12-hour days.
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
