About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a local contract nursing job in Paris, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care services under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Assist with the recovery of patients from anesthesia.
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications as necessary.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Current Texas RN license.
- Experience in PACU preferred.
- Knowledge of post-anesthesia care protocols.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
