Local Contract Occupational Therapist - Home Health - $63 per hour

About the role

Assured Nursing is seeking a local contract Home Health Occupational Therapist in Walla Walla, Washington.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their home environment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Assess patient functional abilities and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document progress and communicate with referring physicians and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Washington State.
• At least one year of recent relevant experience in home health or similar setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of occupational therapy principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to travel within the Walla Walla area as needed.

Skills

• Proficient in using electronic medical records systems.
• Experience with home health care delivery systems.
• Knowledge of community resources and support services.
