Local Contract Occupational Therapist - Home Health - $66 per hour

About the role

Assured Nursing is seeking a local contract Home Health Occupational Therapist for a position in Portland, Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their home environment
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Assess patient functional abilities and recommend appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Document progress and communicate with referring physicians and other healthcare providers

Requirements

• Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Oregon
• Experience in home health or related field preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Passing score on the national certification exam
• Current CPR certification

Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
• Effective time management and organization skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
