About the role
The Medical Solutions LTC is seeking a local contract nurse RN Director of Nursing for a 13-week position in Conrad, Montana. The role requires 40 hours per week, with an 8-hour shift during the day.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall operations of the nursing department
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and policies
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care
- Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
- Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (RN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Montana
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing management experience
- Experience in long-term care settings preferred
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Qualifications
