Local Contract Director of Nursing, Long-Term Care - $47-56 per hour

About the role

The Medical Solutions LTC is seeking a local contract nurse RN Director of Nursing for a 13-week position in Tiptonville, Tennessee. The shift is 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the nursing department to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans for patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Ensure staff are adequately trained and supervised.
• Manage the nursing budget and resources effectively.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a leadership role.
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Passport required for international assignments.
• Travel authorization must be approved by the client.
