Local Contract Director of Nursing, Long-Term Care - $63-74 per hour

About the role

The Medical Solutions LTC is seeking a local contract nurse RN Director of Nursing for a 15-week position in Providence, Rhode Island. The role requires 40 hours per week, working 8-hour shifts during the day.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall quality and safety of patient care
• Develop and implement policies and procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient needs are met
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
• Manage staff and resources effectively
• Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current RN license in Rhode Island
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing management experience
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities

Qualifications
