Loan Processor

Alma Bank, headquartered in Long Island City, New York with 13 branches throughout Queens, NYC, Long Island, New Jersey, Brooklyn and the Bronx, is currently looking to hire an experienced Loan Processor to work out of its Corporate office in Astoria, NY.

Summary

This position requires a highly organized individual with strong multitasking skills and the ability to interact effectively with internal departments, customers, and third-party vendors throughout the loan process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Track loan applications and pipeline activity
• Order searches, credit reports, appraisals, and environmental reports
• Manage good faith deposits, processing fees, and commitment fees
• Process vendor invoices and payments
• Coordinate appraisal and environmental report engagements
• Prepare and distribute loan-related reports
• Issue commitment letters
• Update loan information within nCino and other bank systems
• Scan, index, and maintain loan files
• Coordinate with underwriting, lending officers, and third-party vendors

Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Banking or loan processing experience preferred. Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Adobe PDF).
