As an ACES Lending Officer, you will undergo comprehensive training to pass the SAFE and National Licensing exams, gaining expertise in mortgages, HELOCs, and the lending landscape. This role prepares you for a successful career as a future Licensed Lending Officer.

Our ideal candidate prioritizes customer satisfaction, is comfortable with technology, proactive, and excels at building strong sales relationships. While previous lending experience isn’t necessary, a proven sales record demonstrating the ability to meet and surpass sales targets is required.

Responsibilities

  • Embrace a comprehensive training program to develop expertise across the entire loan life cycle.
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities effectively.
  • Understand basic financial concepts and mortgage products.
  • Adapt to industry changes and company policies.
  • Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain high ethical standards in all interactions.
  • Use software for loan processing and customer management.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the loan process.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience with a proven history of meeting and exceeding goals (call center sales experience highly preferred).
  • Ability to commute to Southfield, MI full-time.
  • Ability to pass the NMLS exam and meet mortgage licensing requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect with clients through phone presentations and build strong relationships.
  • Consistent attendance, punctuality, and willingness to embrace coaching for improvement.
  • A bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.

Pay

Base hourly rate of $15/hour during training. Post-training, as a Licensed Lending Officer, compensation includes an hourly minimum wage plus a lucrative bonus structure based on fundings. A monthly per-origination bonus incentive is also available once licensed and engaging with customers.
