Loader Supervisor

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking an experienced Outbound Operation Supervisor to manage dock and dispatch operations at our Irving, TX Service Center. The position requires strong leadership, organizational, communication, and logistical skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Driver and Freight Handler Management
• Cookout Operation and Driver/Freight Handler Scheduling
• Ensure Safety Compliance
• Ensure Quality Freight Handling Procedures are Followed
• Timely Dispatching of LTL Loads
• Other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager

Requirements / Qualifications

• Proven Basic Leadership Experience
• Ability to Lead in a Fast-Paced Environment
• Strong Organizational, Communication, and Logistical Skills with Solid Problem-Solving Abilities
• Knowledge of Quality Freight Handling Preferred
• Computer Skills and Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
• Knowledge of the City and Surrounding Areas
• Prior LTL Leadership Experience Strongly Preferred
