About the role
R+L Carriers has an immediate need for full-time Freight Handlers at their San Antonio, TX Service Center. The position offers various shifts and includes 1 week of vacation after 90 days of employment.
Responsibilities
- Earn competitive compensation
- Manage dock and dispatch operations
- Coordinate driver and freight handler scheduling
- Ensure safety compliance
- Follow quality freight handling procedures
- Timely dispatch of LTL loads
- Lead in a fast-paced environment
- Lead team members effectively
- Organize and communicate efficiently
- Solve problems effectively
- Use computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of the city and surrounding areas
- Prior LTL leadership experience is preferred
Qualifications
- Proven basic leadership experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
