About the role
Live Nation Entertainment is the world’s leading live entertainment company, comprised of global market leaders: Ticketmaster, Live Nation Concerts, and Live Nation Media & Sponsorship. The Human Resources Coordinator performs a variety of human resource support duties for the House of Blues Dallas, focusing on recruitment, hiring, and transfer processes within the HRIS system, Workday.
This is an in-venue position; remote work is not available.
Responsibilities
- Record, maintain, and report human resource information accurately in the HR database.
- Enter and maintain new hire information, ensuring records are documented and cross-checked.
- Maintain human resource files and records in compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Complete monthly and year-end reports on terminations, transfers, and new hires.
- Prepare recruitment lists, requisition approvals, and job postings.
- Conduct miscellaneous research, reports, and memos as requested.
- Review background check results for venues.
- Establish and maintain professional working relations with applicants, employees, managers, and business partners.
- Assist with questions and problems courteously and promptly, maintaining confidentiality.
- Support company initiatives, coordinate with related departments, and keep management informed of activities and significant problems.
- Attend and participate in meetings as required.
- Perform related duties, including clerical functions and special projects, and maintain a clean, secure work area.
Requirements
- 2 years of Human Resource or related experience.
- Basic understanding of human resource functions and related computer applications.
- Knowledge of state employment laws, human resource reporting, and recordkeeping requirements.
- Strong communication skills, including effective email and conference call communication.
- High level of integrity and tolerance of diverse cultures, music, and art forms.
