About the role

POSITION SUMMARY – LMSW Social Worker. Provide clinical assessment, crisis intervention, care coordination, and discharge planning to help patients and families navigate medical, emotional, and social needs during hospitalization. The role is based in Valhalla, Westchester County, a scenic hamlet with historic sites, shops, and easy access to New York City.

Qualifications

• Valid license and current registration as an LMSW or LCSW issued by the New York State Education Department
• Master's degree in Social Work from a CSWE‑accredited school
• 2 years recent social work experience in an acute hospital setting

Pay

Pay Rate: $1600.00 - $2300.00

Schedule

Monday – Thursday, 9a‑3pm. In addition, 1/month support group coverage on the 4th Monday from 5:30‑7pm. Total 20 hours per week. Assignment length: 16 weeks.
