About the role
Harris Beach Murtha is seeking a Litigation Support Analyst to join their innovative and growing law firm. This hybrid or remote opportunity is open to multiple Harris Beach Murtha offices across New York and Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Cook up and execute data collections from various sources, including email, network shares, cloud repositories, and local devices
- Keep track of custodians, data sources, and chain of custody to ensure defensible preservation practices
- Handle data integrity and metadata properly throughout the collection process
- Use industry-standard tools like SQL, LAW, and Relativity to process client data
- Create folders, fields, layouts, and permissions in Relativity workspaces
- Tackle exceptions during ingestion workflows and manage batch creation, search runs, and data organization
- Support document review teams by running searches, organizing data, and providing analytics workflows
- Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders about project status, requirements, and timelines
- Onboard new matters by setting up workspaces and taking in data
- Collaborate with IT, Records, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow execution
- Prepare document productions, including native and image formats, load files, and metadata deliverables
- Enter proper and timely billing entries for Litigation Support activities
Requirements
- 2-5+ years of experience in litigation support, eDiscovery, or related experience
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Legal Studies, or related field
- Experience with SQL, LAW, and Relativity
- Strong analytical skills and ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication and client service skills
Qualifications
- Ability to effectively multi-task, meet deadlines, and provide solutions in a fast-paced office setting
- Strong client service and active listening skills

- Comfortable working in the office on a hybrid schedule or fully remote
- The ability to work varying hours each week (will include some nights)

Pay
The anticipated weekly schedule for the Litigation Support Analyst is 40 hours per week. Albany, Buffalo, Ithaca, Rochester and Syracuse, NY: $28.85 - $38.47/hour
