Litigation Paralegal (Healthcare Practice)

Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA | Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week) | Hybrid options available post-onboarding

About The Opportunity

On behalf of a premier law firm in Downtown Los Angeles, we are seeking a talented and proactive Litigation Paralegal to support a busy, high-profile healthcare litigation practice group of 4 to 6 attorneys. Our client is a leading Los Angeles firm with a proven track record in high-stakes healthcare and commercial disputes. Renowned for low turnover and a warm, team-oriented atmosphere, they foster an environment where everyone pitches in to ensure mutual success. In this role, you will work alongside an established, dedicated group of attorneys and legal support professionals.

Responsibilities

• Manage discovery, document production, and e-discovery workflows.
• Assist with deposition and trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and legal shells.
• Handle billable tasks as appropriate (no mandatory minimum billable hour requirement).
• Coordinate state and federal court e-filings.
• Maintain master court calendars, deadlines, and attorney schedules.
• Format complex legal documents.

Qualifications

Experience

• Strong litigation background with a comprehensive understanding of California state and federal court rules and filing processes.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in legal document formatting, table generation, calendaring systems, and e-discovery tools.

Team-First Mindset

• Collaborative, adaptable, and ready to jump in where needed to support the group during busy cycles.

Desk Management

• Excellent organizational skills to manage a heavy, fast-paced caseload efficiently.

Pay

$75,000–$100,000 (DOE)
