Job Details

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation and management of litigation cases from inception through to completion.
• Drafting, reviewing, and editing a variety of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Cooking and managing court dates, appointments, and deadlines.
• Conducting legal research and compiling case-related information.
• Liaising with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials in a professional manner.
• Organizing and maintaining case files to ensure information is kept up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Providing general administrative support to attorneys including managing correspondence, answering phone calls, and maintaining calendars.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Paralegal, within litigation.
• Strong knowledge of case preparation and legal procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A paralegal certification or equivalent is preferred.
