Litigation ParalegalLocation: Tampa, FL Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 6+ Years of Litigation Paralegal ExperienceAbout the OpportunityA well-established national law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its Tampa office. This position will support attorneys handling complex civil litigation matters and is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented paralegal who is comfortable managing cases in a fast-paced environment.The successful candidate will have 6+ years of hands-on litigation experience, strong knowledge of court procedures and filings, and experience supporting matters throughout the litigation lifecycle.What You'll DoSupport attorneys with all phases of litigation, from case initiation through discovery, deposition, trial preparation, and resolutionReview, organize, maintain, and manage case files and supporting documentationDraft and prepare pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, interrogatories, correspondence, and other legal documentsCoordinate the collection, review, organization, and production of documents for discoveryPerform case-related research and assist attorneys with gathering relevant informationServe as a liaison between attorneys, clients, courts, opposing counsel, experts, and other involved partiesAssist with deposition preparation, including organizing exhibits, documents, and witness materialsSupport pre-trial investigations and preparation of witnesses for depositions and trialPrepare trial exhibits, witness binders, demonstrative evidence, and other materials for hearings and trialsCalendar and coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, deadlines, and other case-related meetingsMonitor court deadlines and assist with State and Federal court filingsMaintain accurate and organized case records while managing multiple priorities and deadlinesWhat We're Looking For6+ years of relevant paralegal experience with a strong litigation focusExperience supporting attorneys throughout the litigation processKnowledge of State and Federal court procedures and filing requirementsStrong experience drafting and preparing litigation-related documentsExperience with discovery, depositions, and trial preparationAssociate's Degree or Certificate in Paralegal Studies preferredFirst-party property insurance litigation experience is a plusProficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document/case management systemsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detailAbility to prioritize multiple cases, deadlines, and competing responsibilitiesStable professional work history and verifiable referencesCompensation & BenefitsThe firm offers a competitive compensation package based on experience along with comprehensive benefits and a professional, collaborative working environment.Equal Opportunity EmployerOur client is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, marital status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, genetic information, veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
