Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with all stages of litigation
- Aid in the preparation and filing of legal documents, including motions, discovery, and agreements in state and federal courts
- Support the preparation, filing, and coordination of state and federal subpoenas
- Communicate effectively with clients, experts, and witnesses
- Oversee and assist with the discovery process, including subpoenas, witness locating, deposition scheduling, and managing discovery requests and responses
- Create, organize, track, and maintain case files; monitor calendars and meeting deadlines; document actions; input information into file database and case management software
- Utilize computer databases to organize, store, and access information; conduct research using LEXIS, Westlaw, and other online databases
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal environment
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with team and clients
- Excellent organizational and written/oral communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven computer/technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- A four-year college degree and paralegal certificate required
About the Role
The firm offers a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote for all paralegals.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 and is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
