Litigation Attorney (California-licensed)
Ropers Majeski’s growing and dynamic litigation practice has an opportunity for a California-licensed attorney with a minimum of two years of commercial and general liability litigation experience. The position offers flexibility to work remotely in the Southern California area. Founded over 75 years ago, Ropers Majeski maintains offices internationally and throughout the United States.
Responsibilities
- Handle complex litigation matters from inception to trial, including motion writing, preparation of pleadings and briefs
- Manage discovery and written perpetuate depositions
- Analyze professional liability coverage
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Experience in both state and federal court proceedings
- Handle multiple priorities in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
- JD with excellent academic credentials
- Minimum of two years of experience working on general liability matters
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and e-discovery platforms
- Excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills
- Current CA Bar admission in good standing is required

- Base salary range: $135,000 - $185,000, commensurate with experience
