Litigation Associate – Complex Casualty - 1-4 Yrs Experience - Ft. Lauderdale, FL

About the role

Marshall Dennehey, P.C., seeks an Associate Attorney for the Ft. Lauderdale office with one to four years of civil litigation experience. This role offers early responsibility and meaningful exposure on complex cases for Fortune 500 clients.

Responsibilities

• Take and defend depositions
• Draft and argue substantive motions
• Litigate matters from inception to resolution under the direction of senior attorneys
• Work on diverse and meaningful cases including premises and retail liability, negligent security, products liability, rideshare liability, construction defect and injury, public entity and civil rights, and commercial auto and trucking litigation
• Handle cases that may involve catastrophic losses, multiple claimants, and fatalities

Requirements

• One to four years of civil litigation experience
• Strong judgment, organization, and strategic thinking skills
• Willingness to learn and grow under mentorship

Qualifications

• JD degree from an ABA-approved law school
• Admitted to practice law in Florida
• Passion for civil litigation
