About the role

The Data Scientist will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze complex datasets, develop predictive models, and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions. This role requires a strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, and programming skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable insights
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in data science and analytics

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in data analysis or related field
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or other relevant programming languages
  • Experience with SQL and database management systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience with big data platforms and tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with cloud-based data storage solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure)
