About the role
The Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group, born from a small restaurant in New Orleans, now operates two brands with over 20 locations across the Southeast. Ruby Krewe Members bring the spirit and soul of New Orleans to brunch.
Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently prepare hot food products and portion food prior to cooking.
- Perform other duties in food and final plate preparation, including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu items.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
- Comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
- Communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and front of house krewe members.
- Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
