Role Summary

Cinemark Line Cooks prepare quality food in a fast-paced environment, ensuring freshness and accuracy in orders to enhance the movie-going experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all required items according to approved recipes and portion controls
• Fulfills prep lists daily
• Maintains cleanliness and proper storage of food products
• Minimizes food waste and theft
• Collaborates with servers to ensure accurate food orders
• Cleans food preparation area and equipment after each use
• Ensures standard operating procedures and safety/sanitation are consistently achieved
• Wipes down and sanitizes high-contact areas
• Utilizes personal protective equipment appropriately
• Monitors and reports safety/security issues
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Complete basic food handling training and obtain necessary certifications
• Available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Communicate effectively with all ages, genders, and personalities
• Work in a team environment and independently
• Take and follow direction
• Respond with a sense of urgency

Physical And Environmental Requirements

• Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, and reaching
• Noise level may be moderate to high
• Standing for extended periods of time
