About the role
Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group is a fast-growing concept with two brands operating over 20 restaurants in the Southeast. We're looking for enthusiastic team members to join our Ruby Krewe.
Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently prepare hot food products and portion food prior to cooking.
- Perform food and final plate preparation tasks, including plating and garnishing.
- Prepare appropriate garnishes for all hot menu items.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
- Comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
- Work in a standing position for long periods (up to 10 hours).
- Communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and front-of-house crew.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
- Ability to follow Ruby Standards and recipes consistently.
- Clear communication skills.
- Physical ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Availability to work Days Only, including weekends.
