About the role
The Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group operates two brands with over 20 restaurants throughout the Southeast. This position is within the Restaurant Operations department.Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently prepare hot food products as well as prepare and portion food prior to cooking.
- Perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
- Able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and front of house krewe members.
- Be able to reach, bend stoop, and frequently lift up to 50lbs.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
