Responsibilities

• Proper food handling and storage
• Preparing and portioning food products prior to cooking
• Accurately and efficiently cooking food
• Reading recipes in English or Español and following all recipes, portions, guidelines, sanitation, and basic safety to meet Turning Point and Health Department standards
• Learning and working in all kitchen areas, including the three cooking stations, food prep, and dishwashing positions
• Adhering to a team‑first approach – managers will never ask you to do something they would not do themselves

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Prior restaurant experience recommended but not required
• Skilled with the use of cookware needed for the position
• Able to lift, carry, or pull heavy objects
• Ability to work with high‑temperature equipment and in a high‑heat facility
