About the role

You will work directly with our culinary team, using state-of-the-art equipment to prep fresh ingredients, prepare sauces, and maintain an organized workspace. Your role includes interacting with guests, training new hires, and ensuring safe food handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Wash, chop, and prep vegetables, meats, and other ingredients.
• Label, stock, and rotate ingredients while maintaining an efficient workspace.
• Prepare sauces and accompaniments before meal service.
• Engage with guests to showcase passion for foodservice and hospitality.
• Assist in training new culinary hires.
• Communicate inventory needs, including prep items, cleaning supplies, and paper goods, to the Chef.
• Follow safe food handling procedures and allergen awareness protocols.
• Manage the dish station, including setup, stocking, and washing dishes as needed.
• Perform daily and weekly cleaning assignments, including trash removal.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.

Requirements

• Basic knife and food preparation skills.
• Availability for flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Understanding of safe food handling and storage.
• Must obtain ServSafe certification (preferred but not required at hire).
• High school diploma or GED.

• Verbal and written communication.

• Efficiency in completing tasks accurately and quickly.
• Awareness of ingredients and potential allergens.

Pay

$17.75 – $21.18 per hour. The final offer is based on experience, skills, and geographic location.
