Line Cook 2 - Alltown Fresh

About the role

Alltown Fresh is seeking a Line Cook 2 to join our dynamic culinary team. This role requires a passion for cooking with locally sourced ingredients and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepares fresh ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and other meal prep tasks.
• Prepares necessary sauces or accompaniments before meal service begins.
• Interacts with guests throughout the day, showcasing enthusiasm for foodservice and hospitality.
• Trains new culinary hires and communicates inventory and kitchen needs to the Chef.
• Ensures a clean and sanitary work environment by following safe food handling procedures and performing daily and weekly cleaning assignments.

Requirements

• Basic knife and food preparation skills.
• Flexible availability for early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Understanding of safe food handling and storage.
• Must obtain Serve Safe certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to inspire, motivate, and recognize team members.
• Quickly and accurately completes tasks.
• Awareness of ingredients and potential allergens within recipes.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $21.18 per hour. Final amounts offered at the start of employment are determined based on various factors including experience, performance, and location.
