Line Cook 2 - Alltown Fresh

About the role

Alltown Fresh is seeking a Line Cook 2 to join our culinary team. This role requires a passion for food preparation and a commitment to hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Prepares fresh ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and other meal prep tasks.
• Prepares necessary sauces or accompaniments before meal service begins.
• Interacts with guests throughout the day, showcasing enthusiasm for foodservice and hospitality.
• Trains new culinary hires and communicates inventory and kitchen needs to the Chef.
• Ensures a clean and sanitary work environment by following safe food handling procedures and performing daily and weekly cleaning assignments.

Requirements

• Basic knife and food preparation skills.
• Available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Understanding of safe food handling and storage.
• Must obtain serve safe certification.
• High school diploma or GED. ServSafe certification preferred.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $21.18 per hour. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.

Schedule

Flexible hours that may include early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
