About the Role
Reporting to the Showroom Manager, the Lighting Sales Consultant is a key member of the Kendall Lighting Center sales team. This role focuses on maintaining positive customer relationships through excellent service, selling a wide variety of lighting products, merchandising accessories, and ensuring the showroom remains clean and orderly.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers visiting or calling in
- Sell a wide variety of lighting products to customers
- Maintain and grow customer sales and gross profits to meet company growth objectives
- Merchandise new accessories and price them as required
- Maintain cleanliness and order of the showroom
- Adhere to Kendall Group policies, procedures, and standards to ensure quality service
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
- 1 year of customer service experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience with MS Office; strong computer and typing skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to multi-task and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well cross-functionally and provide excellent internal and external customer service
- Willingness to learn quickly; ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills
- Ability to sit, talk, and listen; stand and lift up to 40 lbs frequently; climb stairs (reasonable accommodations may be made)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous lighting showroom sales experience
