Lift Truck Service Technician III (South Bay)

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnoses, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electronic, gas/diesel, and hydraulic material handling equipment.
• Identify additional safety, mechanical, and other items needing repair during equipment work.
• Submit quotes and completed work orders each day.
• Work independently or collaboratively, focusing on tasks for long periods.
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, maintaining good relationships.
• Live within a 30-mile radius of the assigned territory.

Requirements

• At least six months experience working on engines.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Proven diagnosis and trouble-shooting skills.
• Good written, verbal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work safely under pressure and take general directions.
• Previous experience with a computer tablet, typing, and taking photos.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and other dealer applications.
• Ability to drive a motor vehicle and other industrial equipment.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance and availability for overtime and weekends.
• Qualified DMV record, background check, and drug screening.
• ASE certifications preferred (non-Toyota).
• Master Certified Technician certification preferred.
• Technical school certificate of completion preferred.
