Licensing Specialist - Lakeland

About the role

The Licensing Specialist at Publix Super Markets is responsible for ensuring all products sold in stores comply with state and federal regulations regarding product labeling, packaging, and advertising.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve product labels, advertisements, and promotional materials for compliance with legal requirements.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure accurate and timely product information updates.
• Monitor regulatory changes and inform management about potential impacts on product offerings.
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints related to product labeling and compliance issues.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to product compliance audits and inspections.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as marketing, business, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in a regulatory compliance role or in a similar field.
• Strong understanding of federal and state consumer protection laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
