Licensing and Branding Coordinator
Job Summary
We are seeking a Data Analyst with extensive experience in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Power BI to join our PD Licensing and Branding team. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving process improvement initiatives, particularly in transitioning legacy database environments and reports into more advanced solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Database Development & Maintenance: Transition database solution from an Access-based environment to a SQL-based data mart, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
- Design, develop and maintain databases to support data tracking, reporting and analytical needs.
- Continuously improve existing databases to adapt to evolving business needs.
- Data Analysis & Visualization: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI to analyze and track business metrics.
- Analyze complex data sets using SQL to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Reporting & Documentation: Manage ad-hoc inquiries related to reporting, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Create comprehensive documentation of data processes, methodologies, and reports.
- Requirement Gathering: Communicate/Correspond with teams across the company to gather and document data to ensure accuracy for reporting.
- Implement and maintain administrative tasks to track and manage data for accuracy and efficiency.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with multi-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that drive performance and efficiency.
- Deliver training and support to team members on Power BI and data analysis standard methodologies.
- Continuous Improvement: Find opportunities for process improvements, automation and efficiencies in data collection, reporting, and analysis.
- Stay updated on industry trends and standard methodologies in data analytics and business intelligence.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in a business analysis role, with a strong emphasis on data analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI and SQL is essential; experience with other BI tools is a plus.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Data Analytics, Business Operations, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master's degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
