Licensed Vocational Nurse - Primary Pediatric

About the Role

This position involves providing patient care under supervision, including vital signs, specimen collection, and assisting with examinations and procedures. The role also includes performing lab procedures, administering medications and immunizations, and supporting patient flow within the clinic.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures
• Manage patient communication, scheduling tests, and documenting information
• Administer medications and immunizations as ordered
• Maintain cleanliness and restock exam rooms and equipment
• Perform clerical tasks such as chart retrieval, filing, and completing forms
• Support medication refills and coordinate with providers on patient care

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program
• Valid LVN license in the state of employment or a compact license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Competency in lab procedures, patient care, and clinic support duties

Schedule

Work schedule includes five days, eight hours per day.
