Licensed Vocational Nurse - Clinic - Primary Pediatrics

About the Role

Provides patient care under the supervision of physicians or registered nurses, following established standards and practices. Performs basic clinical duties such as obtaining vital signs, weighing patients, collecting specimens (including phlebotomy), administering medications and immunizations, and assisting with examinations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supports patient flow and assists providers during examinations and treatments.
• Answers phones, records messages, and helps schedule tests, appointments, and pre-certifications.
• Documents patient information accurately and assists with medication refills.
• Maintains cleanliness and restocks exam rooms and equipment according to policy, adhering to sterile techniques and universal protocols.
• Performs routine clerical duties including chart retrieval, filing, and completing forms.
• Participates in meetings, training, and performs additional assigned duties.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Licensed LVN in the relevant state or compact license.
• Current BLS certification.
