Location: Temple, Texas, Facility: King's Daughter Clinic Temple, Department/Specialty: Pediatrics, Schedule: PRN | Days 8 hour shift

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical care under the guidance of a registered nurse or physician, ensuring all treatments align perfectly with your scope of practice and safety standards.
• Contribute to patient health assessments by actively observing well-being and identifying critical changes to help the care team make informed, timely medical decisions.
• Administer medications safely and monitor patients closely for adverse reactions, prioritizing patient comfort and swift intervention when needed.
• Perform essential diagnostic tests and therapeutic services to provide the accurate data required for effective treatment planning.
• Empower patients and their families through dedicated education on holistic health, discharge self-care, and community resources to ensure a smooth, confident transition home.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
• Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Preferences

• 2 years of LVN experience
• Pediatric experience
