Licensed Vocational Nurse Part-Time - Residential RESET DMH

About the role

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) implements and integrates the delivery of health services to youth/young adults, maintains accurate and timely documentation, and supports psychiatric services, including management and documentation duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver health services to youth/young adults
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation to meet programmatic and treatment objectives
• Support psychiatric services, including management and documentation duties

Requirements

• Current licensure as a California vocational nurse or psychiatric technician
• Basic training and/or experience in medical procedures and administering medication
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with Seriously Emotionally Disturbed (SED) children, youth, or young adults
• Maintain all required licenses and certifications
• Personal, reliable vehicle for travel to various locations
• Valid California driver’s license
• Acceptable driving record as determined by Agency policy
• Proof of auto insurance meeting minimum coverage requirements

Pay

Starting pay range: $35 - $38 per hour (based on previous work experience and educational background).
