About the role

The Licensed Practice Manager (LPM) oversees all aspects of the location's business operations. They champion their team through development programs, coaching, mentoring, and performance management. The LPM ensures memorable patient experiences, drives sales, increases margins, controls payroll expenses, and enhances profitability to meet the company's business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a team that collaborates effectively to achieve goals
  • Ensure professional eye exams and medical services are provided
  • Manage inventory and acceptance of vision insurance plans
  • Provide exceptional patient service following the Acuity Way
  • Recruit and develop top talent aligned with AEG's values
  • Fit glasses and accurately place prescriptions in lenses
  • Measure eyes and faces for proper lens fit
  • Interpret prescriptions from optometrists and ophthalmologists
  • Work closely with the District Manager to achieve financial plans
  • Adapt to new challenges and find creative solutions
  • Develop and reinforce the practice's selling strategy and Acuity Way
  • Implement loss prevention measures
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on employee compliance

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of professional experience with leadership capabilities
  • Current state licensure
  • Optical dispensing experience
  • Business degree in hospitality, business, or related field in management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Optician certification
