About the role

The Licensed Practice Manager (LPM) oversees all aspects of the location's business operations. They champion their team through development programs, coaching, mentoring, and performance management. The LPM ensures memorable patient experiences, drives top line sales, increases margins, controls payroll expenses, and boosts profitability to meet the company's business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a culture of excellence through coaching, mentoring, and performance management
• Ensure professional eye exams and medical services are provided, and products are accepted by vision insurance plans
• Drive top line sales, increase margin, control payroll expenses, and boost profitability
• Work directly with staff and OD partners to provide remarkable patient service
• Build an effective team that collaborates to achieve results
• Set clear objectives for store staff and establish high standards of performance
• Apply leadership, creative thinking, and analytical skills to improve individual practice performance
• Adapt to new problems, solve creatively, and share best practices within the AEG platform
• Ensure daily sales reviews, identify gaps, and implement solutions to close those gaps
• Protect the company through loss prevention
• Partner with Human Resources to ensure employees adhere to handbook guidelines

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional setting background with leadership capacity
• State Licensure
• Optical dispensing experience
• Business Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field in management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Optician Certification
